The family staff here are so amazing and friendly and lovely, the rooms are really clean and spacious and comfortable and the AC is very good and cold when needed. The food they provide is absolutely beautiful, the best food we have had in all of Sri Lanka I wish we could eat it every day Also the land is amazing with a lot of nature

First ask yourself what is the reason you want to be here - if you are here for the nature alone, Nilantha is the best person you can stay with and who you SHOULD take as a guide with you to the safari. He has a degree in biology , fluent English and knows so much about the local fauna and flora so a full day safari doesn’t get boring (which I can imagine can if you only take a driver with you). He is a true believer in ecotourism and is giving back to local communities. If you are here for a fancy dinner and facilities, go somewhere else. This is a simple stay in the jungle. And one more thing to add - your guide is not responsible for how many animals you’ll see BUT we were lucky and he for sure knows some spots where they MIGHT appear. And last but not least- Nilantha is a great and nice person we had a chance to meet :)

Un soggiorno stupendo, siamo state coccolate tutto il tempo, ti trovi immerso nella natura e sei vicino al parco, spesso vicino alla proprietà puoi vedere alcuni animali, ad esempio noi siamo state accompagnate dal proprietario a vedere un Elefante lì vicino. Abbiamo anche fatto il Safari con loro, il ragazzo che ci ha accompagnato è stato bravissimo e riusciva a vedere gli animali e così ci ha permesso di vederli anche a noi. Lo straconsiglio. Bonus in più la sera patatine fritte buonissime e grigliata.

Kulu Safaris is a completely exceptional place to stay in every way and it was the highlight of our holiday in Sri Lanka. The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Our guide, Jeana, was very knowledgeable about Sri Lankan wildlife and a lovely person, we learnt a lot from talking to her on our safaris. We also went kayaking on the lake which was beautiful. The tents are so comfortable to stay in and it's a very peaceful location, surrounded by nature. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious and we were served our meals in different locations around the site, which was beautiful and very romantic. It is expensive, but the safari and other activities is included, as well as all food and drink, and so I think it is definitely worth the money, particularly as Kulu is very eco-conscious and ensures minimal disruption to the wildlife. Overall, I couldn't recommend staying at Kulu more highly, and I hope to go back one day.

Amazing property, the Tent is a very cozy room and the staff was amazing. Uditha received super well and helped us with everything we needed. We stayed 3 nights and 2 days, and had a very early safari in both days. Uditha provided a breakfast for us to bring along and eat in our safari, and gave many tips about the region. We had pré-booked our safaris and lunch already, but if you need they can arrange for safaris and/or lunch as well. On the morning of our checkout we also did a nice bush walk around the property to say our goodbyes to Yala. The rooms have air conditioning, fan, hairdryer and good wifi. Definitely will recommend to friends that come to visit the Yala National Park!

The warm welcome, our beautiful room with a plunge pool that the kids enjoyed very much, the incredible service and attention to detail, the kindness of the staff, the best food we had in Sri Lanka, extraordinary safaris and last but not least our incredible guide Danu, thank you for spoiling us and sharing your passion for your country, nature and wildlife.

Questa struttura è a dir poco perfetta e organizzata nei minimi dettagli. La cena è la colazione sono state ottime, servendoci piatti locali. Le tende curute e pulitissime. Staff disponibile e accogliente. Una nota di merito alla guida che ha reso piacevole ed interessante sia la passeggiata notturna che il tuor nel parco per la sua preparazione.

Come al Mahoora di Wilpattu anche qui io e la mia amica ci siamo trovate benissimo! I servizi sono di alto livello, tutto echo e organizzato nel dettaglio! Le scimmie che girano all’interno del campo giocano con i cani e fanno respirare una ventata selvatica di libertà. Abbiamo preso il pacchetto con il safari di mezza giornata e la mezza pensione e lo riprenderemmo!
