The property lies on the outskirts of Groningen downtown however city center it is very well reachable by a short walk and even better with a bike that you can rent on the spot. We stayed in a tent and it was interesting to be woken up by a peacock sitting at the tent entrance early in the morning. The ambience was quite relaxing and offers an extraordinary experience feeling like an oasis in a desert. We figured we should visit this place every now and then to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

At first when we arrived we were so skeptic because the entrance to the camp was so messy and didn't look so good. But As soon we went further in to the camp it was like entering the garden og Eden. Very well thought through, beautiful tents and comfortable beds. The staff was very kind and helpful and willing to find other solutions when we asked to change some tents for personal reasons. The facilities are very practical, and well thought through. It was by far the best camping site I have ever visited...AND THE BREAKFAST! WoW! it was beyond expectations. Very good, abundant and beautifully prepared. The location was very beautiful and peaceful!
