Mario and his wife were so sweet and helpful. When I called to ask if they could help us arrange a taxi from the train station Mario came to pick us up himself. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The real highlight is the food. Everything is prepared from the garden and it's all amazing. Mario will also come out and explain some of the history and preparation of the food which I find super interesting. You could see a palace lit up at night from our balcony!

El vam agafar per la seva ubicació estratègica en la nostra ruta de nord a sud que cam fer per Portugal i per la seva relació qualitat-preu. La veritat és que compleix molt bé amb aquestes funcions. Vam agrair moltíssim la flexibilitat horària per fer el check-in, la comoditat del llit, l’aparcament gratuit i l’esmorzar inclòs en el preu. Ens va agradar la filosofia que tenen de tenir treballadors que són voluntaris que els ofereizen allotjament, àpats i sortides per surfejar a canvi de treballar 6 dies a la setmana durant 5 hores. Es respira molt bon ambient i tothom parla amb tothom.

From the very beginning, Duarte was super nice and did his best to accommodate our request. Provided us important information and was available to help us at any moment. The accommodation was 10/10. Super safe and it had everything we needed. Very well cleaned. Instructions easy to follow. Quite spacious, very cozy and well designed. Would super recommend, a perfect getaway!!

We checked in late at night, and Andre took great care of us and got us situated. We stayed in the Deluxe King Hasten Suite (which is not a king bed, but a queen), and it was beautiful. We also ordered in-room massages with one of their vendors. Slight hiccup was that the appointments were for Mon, but she didn't arrive due to child care issues, and we rescheduled for the next day. It was great. The property itself is fantastic with cork walls, wooden decks, and many small design details that we appreciated. The shower was very large and had plenty of hot water with great water pressure. Our own Netflix account was super easy to connect to their TV via the supplied QR code. Every morning, there was free breakfast, and it was freshly made and delicious. Plenty of free coffee, tea, and juices in the breakfast area adjacent to the lobby. Breakfast included chia puddings, uniquely prepared egg options, pancakes, etc. We also got to know Jason there who was also fantastic and very hospitable.
