Known as Thanda Tented Camp, this camp is built in colonial-safari style. Each spacious tent comes with a private sun deck and en-suite canvas bathroom. The camp is non-electrified but does have limited solar and battery power with a back-up generator to power the tents for a few hours each day for guests to charge cameras and phones.

Staying in the Zululand-Lodge was an amazing experience. We stayed in many, many different accommodations during our round trip through South Africa, but this one is one of the places that probably sticks to our minds the most. The camp was beautifully furnished and the tents were very comfortable. We slept very well and enjoyed being woken up by birds singing. Walking through the park and observing the hippos was magical. Martin was the most hospitable manager. He cared for us like a good friend. All in all, it was an absolutely beautiful stay and we would definitely love to come back one day!

You felt like you were alone in the area, as the cabins were separated by the forest, so it was very romantic. The entertainment place is the best part that's where we spent most of our time. The outside showers were such an amazing experience. Gugu is the most nicest and helpful person. She keeps everything so clean and perfect. She services the house daily. We really enjoyed our stay at Nguni lodge. Location was perfect and there was plenty of peace and tranquility. If you love animals and nature this place is perfect. We can't wait to back 😊

Breakfast and dinner was delicious everyday. We left early for a safari and they pre-made breakfast for us to go. They booked our full day safari trip for us and transferred us in/out of Hluhluwe town as we ended up having no car - so helpful! They do have a contact for an airport transfer but it was booked up, so just book that in advance if needed! 10/10 recommend 😊EvelynGroup
