Spread out over 6000 acres and offering pet-friendly accommodation, Turon Gates - Mountain Retreat is a tranquil bush property located in the Blue Mountains. It is a 2.5 hour drive from Sydney. Staying at Turon Gates to visit the nearby Capertee Valley for birdwatching. Loved the place. Beautiful setting on a peaceful river and Gang-Gang Cuckatoos right outside the cabin ! We also saw hundreds of Kangaroos nearby from the road leading to our cabin ! The cabin was spacious and very confortable. Excellent place for the money.

Perfect privacy, and great communication from Sue with helpful information/ travel tips on how to reach the property too. The kind little gestures - so thoughtful! Kangaroos visited each morning. The stars are so clear and abundant, which make for great photo/star gazing :) If you're looking for a get-away, to help you detox from phones and 'always on' hamster wheel, this is the place! :)

Featuring free WiFi, a barbecue and a terrace, Flying Fox Backpackers offers accommodation 450 metres from Katoomba station.. Free breakfast and parking is offered. Unique hostel in that it has a community and family vibe. kitchen had all staples and spices. Everything was organized and everyone maintained it that way. Cozy common area with fire.Ross, the host is a good source of information.

Guests can enjoy an outdoor dining area and outdoor furniture. The unit offers 3 beds. Good location, there is a great playground just opposite the accommodation. My 2 boys love it so much. The Glamping we stayed has all necessary equipment we need.

Excellent accommodation, had everything we needed, nice and clean. The hot tub was lovely after a busy day. Sitting on the decking watching the wildlife of an evening was a lovely way to wind down.
