The estate was beautiful, peaceful and clean. The owners were very helpful , the husband actually came to pick us up from another place we had stayed in, when roads were closed and even took us to the grocery store! He refused to charge us for this help!

Thornthwaite Farm is set amidst the scenery of the Woodland Valley, in Broughton-in-Furness. Lake Windermere is just 13 miles from the property. Fantastic views and wonderful walks from the property itself

Everything was perfect was nice to be greeted and shown round by Phillipa given the keys and contact number if any problems talked about the local area where I discovered 2 old quarrys to walk the dogs and felt like home from home.

Everything you needed including towels tea towels etc Host thought of everything with some treats left - and some for our grandchildren - not expected but appreciated and a lovely touch- correspondence with owner second to none- he really wanted to make sure we had a great time

Rydal Retreat Lakeland Holiday Park อยู่ห่างจากเวิลด์ ออฟ บีทริกซ์ พอตเตอร์ 28 กม.... The caravan is on a stunning park with its own lakes and lots to do. The caravan was comfortable and very clean. Great price and would definitely return if given the chance. The owners gave great instructions and were only happy to help with any questions we had.
