Poseidon is the perfect place to rest and enjoy the seaside and the beach. Although Makaskar is a busy beach town, we felt away from the noise and crowd in our apartment. The reception and the resort staff are courteous, welcoming and helpful. They want to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. We stayed in an apartment instead of a bungalow, which was perfect for us being a couple. Large bed, bathroom, spacious front terrace with table and chairs and a sunbed. Perfect to have meals alfresco. Towels are changed every four days and equipped little kitchen if you like to stay in and make your own meals. Great large private parking. We felt at home very quickly!

The icing on the cake has to be the incredibly friendly owners who make you feel right at home. A pro-tip for future visitors: don't miss the 15-minute hike up the mountain just before sunset. The view from the top is truly unforgettable. All in all, a stellar holiday destination.

The place is spotless and tidy, a true reflection of the thought and care invested in every aspect. We loved learning about the touching story of how Cast Away came to be. The passion and dedication that went into creating this oasis are truly heartwarming. There is a nice a spacious kitchen, outfitted with all the culinary tools you might need, and a dishwasher. The sleeping mattress was comfy and the views are amazing. The crystalline sea and immaculate beaches exceeded all expectations. Our heartfelt thanks to the entire team at Cast Away for providing us with a truly unforgettable retreat. We are already looking forward to our return, as the beauty and tranquility of this place have captured our hearts.

The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was always clean. A large supermarket is a two minute walk away, as well as a bakery. The pool was always available. There is a picnic table with a barbeque and kitchen necessities including a large fridge. We felt like we were staying in a private park. Imotski itself has beautiful sights to discover especially if you're outdoorsy, but it's worth coming to Rock Oak just to stay at the property and relax for a few days. It is evident that a lot of thought and effort is put into this place, as everything is well-maintained. The host, Ana, was friendly, kind and knowledgeable about the area which added to the entire experience. We'll be back ASAP, and highly recommend this place.
