It also provided enough space and plenty of options inside and outside for all activities, meals, enjoying the woodstove, and so on. The small terrace was also greatly appreciated for the breakfast. We also enjoyed the unobtrusive behaviour of the hosts.

Excellent location close to town, but in a serene location right in Herjólfsdalur with nearby trails up the mountain, and grazing sheep! Although I did not do the hike due to windy conditions, it was highly recommended by staff! Very cute and cozy cabins, and good shared kitchen and bathroom facilities just a short walk away.
