I didn't really know places other than Aoi Ike to go to, and he was kind to take me by car and show me around. In the evening we ate yakiniku together. And on the next day, he even took me by motorcycle to Aoi Ike and to a hot spring. I did some plowing for him in the morning in exchange, which also felt very nice as you don't usually do that on workdays. I would definitely recommend staying at Totonou Place. You will find nature such as mountains, mountain rivers, fields, woods, and stars at night, a great way to take a rest from the city hustle and bustle. And if you don't know anything, you can always rely on the owner. He knows lots of cool tips and is simply a great guy. Even if you are traveling alone, that would be a wonderful place to stay.
