We were warmly welcomed and the place is loved by adults as well as children. Asanka's wife Sadamali prepared our dinner and it was the best meal we had in Sri Lanka. The hotel arranged the safari. The jeep driver who provides excellent service is the best guide. The sound of the river is like a bavana throughout the night. Love it.

Everything! Kottawatta surprised us at every turn; from the cold facial towels upon entry to the poolside drinks to an amazing curry for dinner. As a plus, the room was extremely comfortable. Our safari organized through the hotel was exceptional!

Offering river views, this fan-cooled tent has a private entrance, seating area and extra large bed with spring mattress. It includes a hot water shower, towel and shoe racks. A wonderful place set by a little river where I could see monkeys in the trees from my veranda.. Don't get scared of the word tent, it's more like a room with material walls, better than many other rooms I have stayed in. I went on a safari they arranged and their guide/driver was very good. He even sat up chairs and a little table for us in the open when it was time for the breakfast he had brought. After a day on safari it was nice to cool off in the well kept pool at the guesthouse. The food in the restaurant was very good. I really liked the place and I can highly recommend it.

El Athgira River Camp está situado en la entrada del parque nacional de Udawalawe y ofrece vistas al río Rakwana. Está muy cerca del embalse de Udawalawe y del orfanato de elefantes. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was good and the pool area was nice. They arranged the safari to Udawalawe National Park. The driver took us around the park.

El River Glamping by Gaga bees ofrece una parrilla y vistas al jardín en Udawalawe, en el distrito de Ratnapura, a 8 km del parque nacional de Udawalawe. Madu was amazing as host. He made sure that all of the food was suitable for the 5 year old. He also arranged our Safari, which was great as well! We really like the "tents" - which were actually little houses, everything was super clean, and even though it was 35° outside during the day, we did not even need the AC during the night, as the tents are in between trees. We also like the access to the river for a swim in the morning, We definitely recommend to stay there!

This unique tent is set on the border of the National Park and comes with a private bathroom. Super kind and friendly staff. Definitely the best of the camp. The tents are super well equipped. You feel you are in a camp without compromising on comfort. The setting is very nice, and the vibe at night is awesome with the bonfire and the fire lamps. Great option to stay one night if you want to do safari in the afternoon and in the morning.

Featuring carpet flooring, tents come with an outdoor living area and a private bathroom with hot-water showers. Includes a torch, umbrellas and a luggage rack. it was a great experience. very peaceful night
