One of the best guesthouses we ever stayed at. We got an upgrade to a bungalow, and it was a dream. A huge light blue house with several rooms, beautiful ornaments, fans, AC, well equipped kitchen, wonderful wooden furniture, big terrace, free netflix, good wifi. I could not stop taking picutres of the place. The garden is also exceptionally beautiful, with several heliconias, bamboo, a small bridge,... agutis running around, poison dart frogs, many iguanas, birds, there even was a sloth in a tree. Nice pool. very close to playa negra. safe private car park. Friendly owner.

The owners were really kind and accommodating, from bringing us food for the kids when we arrived really late to borrowing the thermometer when one of the kids got sick. Ive visited CR many times since 1985 and this was my BEST STAY EVER.QUIET away from the crowds now in Cahuita but close . Staff is wonderful helpful and it is very clean. Highly recommend.wildlife every morning..monkeys parrots tucans iguanas lizzards..Saw no snakes. They have two dogs on patrol.

You can walk to the Reggae bar in a minute to grab a beer and there are hammocks at the accomodation. We also did the Night Tour by Brigitte's, which we really reccommend! You will see plenty of frogs, snakes, beautifull insects and mammals.
