The units in Harbour House are equipped with a flat-screen TV and free toiletries. we loved our stay in the Loch Cabin. it was modern, spacey, spotless clean. the view was magnificent, straight to the Barbour. excellent location and a good breakfast. note: while the property policy mentioned in booking.com says kids 3 years old and up are welcome, and the same is noted in the reservation approval, this is not the case for the loch cabins which are apparently for 2 adults only without possibility to accommodate any kids not even with additional fee. we arrived with a 5 year old and it was a bit of a shock to learn that we might no be able to check in. thankfully Alan the owner agreed (after some convincing) to let us check in with our kid. this was an exception (thanks Alan for the extra understanding and flexibility here) - so just sharing this important detail for those of you with kids.

The bathroom was great, very big and modern, and it had both shower and a hot tub. The room was big enough for both of us and our luggage. Also, Joy let us leave the luggge in the lounge after checkout until we left Inverness. It was a very good value for money.

Really gorgious guesthouse. I stayed just one night but fully enjoyed my stay. Very clean, new and comfy rooms, friendly staff, nice and tasty continental breakfast. Plenty of walk around in beautiful area. 5 minutes to Tain center. Loved it and hopefully will visit again.

The guest house has family rooms. Such a cozy place! Laura and Kenny were such nice, considerate hosts. I don't know about the other rooms, but Room 7 had a private bathroom and every essential commodity, they even left us fruit and snacks on our arrival. The views are gorgeous, and the tranquility of the whole atmosphere was much appreciated. We highly recommend this place if you're planning on visiting the Isle of Skye!
