The development where the house is, is peaceful. I enjoyed sitting outside on one of the balconies. I also felt safe as there is a guard for the development. I would stay again.

The staff were extremely lovely and attentive too, they even brought us an afternoon snack to our room when we got home from a long day of sight seeing. Kenkey House is a short walk for a cheap meal, if you like kenkey. If you're brave, Madina Market is not far (10 minutes) and a fun adventure. It's a truly local market. Fabric selection is quite good. Madina is also a major tro tro station if you want to get local transport.
