It very close to many different restaurants (amazing pupusas!!), a natural spring pool is just a 5 minute walk away, and the main town square is a 15 minute walk. The neighborhood felt safe and the hostel owner (Nelson) is a super cool chill dude. He does a free walking tour which I highly recommend to get acquainted with the area. He also has the cutest dog named Bush! It was such a treat getting to know them while staying at the hostel. The hostel kitchen is also well equipped and I also loved that you are able to do your own laundry here in the washing machine. I would definitely recommend this place!

But how he helped me and my friend when she got seriously injured was outstanding. He was available on the phone within no time. He arranged a transport to the nearest hospital. And even the transport back to Santa Ana when my friend needed to get stitches. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
