Super sweet vibe at Home On The Nile, the staff is so welcoming and so is the owner. You will feel right at home, the location is beautiful and accompanied by beautiful music at the bar. The dorm was great, very comfortable and so was the main house. You will really miss out if you don't book at Home on the Nile!! I had the Spaghetti Bolognese for dinner and it was a delicacy!! Can only recommend ;) Even when I wanted to move at night I was provided with a trusted Boda Boda Driver. Same for my planned activities. I felt very cared for.

We also loved the fact we could cook by ourselves - after a couple of weeks on the road and therefore always eating in bars or restaurants it was great to have some of our own comfort food, and the kitchen is perfectly equipped for cooking.

The common areas, such as the bar serving cold beers, and the restaurant which serves great food (and has a pool table), make the hostel social yet relaxing. The staff was really helpful and nice to me, giving advice on what to do in Jinja and how to move around the city. The rooms are clean and the security guardians at the gate are very helpful too.
