Some units at the property have a patio with a mountain view. Andrea, the owner, was exceptionally attentive, helpful and conscientious. In addition to being an amazingly cozy and inviting atmosphere, she also explained her larger vision of reducing environmental impact (particularly on trash and water usage) and training local women as employees at a fair wage. Could not give a stronger recommendation for this hostel!

All guest rooms include bed linen. As per the other reviews- Eric and Daniel were so accommodating and couldn't do enough for us. They even helped my friend with her sunburn by providing aloe vera and serums!! Free breakfast and tea/coffee was awesome and the real highlight was the view from the terrace. People were a nice level of social which worked great for us. We really loved our stay here and highly recommend going!

Great view of lake Atitlan and the surrounding mountains and volcanoes! Everyone that works there is super cool and friendly, and makes you feel like you belong and are welcome. There is a bathroom on each floor and I never had to wait for it more than a couple of minutes. Hot shower. Really comfortable bed! And the layout of the room (private) was way cuter than it looked in the pictures. Even though you can hear all the nearby parties, it doesn't stay loud late at night because everything in that area shuts down pretty early and it isn't on the main strip, and the hostel itself is super chill. The rooftop hangout spot is a lovely and super comfortable place to relax with a view of the lake. The wi-fi works well, the staff will help you plan anything you want to do and answer all your questions, and I felt super safe.

I loved the fire camp at night with sometimes Travellers play song music, loved the traditional temascal steam bath, and outdoor sort of dorms, allowing for fresh air, calm, confortable with plenty of room. Plus the view is amazing and healthy as it’s surrounded with organic fields. It’s only a short walk distance from the city centre and fresh 7q cononuts ;)
