Despite its age, the plase has all equipment necessary for comfort life. It is possible to use equipment for barbeque and a genuine stone furnace (which we used to cook breakfast). Also, there is a hot spring and a supermarket not far away from the guesthouse, which you can get to using a car or a bike. Finally, the owner is very friendly and can tell a lot of interesting stories.

Perfect location at the Harbour and seaside of Atami, including the beach. Wonderful all day, especially early in the morning and at sunset. Great restaurants and Atami Ginza as well as an amusement area close to the river all within a few minutes walking. The Japanese style room was minimalist but very nice and generous. The host was really charming and I would have stayed two weeks longer there but had to return to Germany.
