Everybody functions like a little family hanging out and talking to each other. Free bikes (or motobike rentals) to get into town, free canoe to explore the lake. I really loved it here. The location is truly awesome even if it's 15mins bike away from the city. No regrets. We were here 2 weeks and loved every minute of it. Definitely one of the highlights of my entire Sri Lanka trip.

At the hostel all rooms are equipped with a shared bathroom and bed linen. Solo 38 years young female Aussie traveller. Very cool hostel. The longer you stay the more you appreciate the place and the love all around the hostel, so much art and quirky things. I was the only person staying at the hostel as its rhe quite season in the area. This didn't matter as I hung out with Himesh, his brother Prabash and their friends who treated me so well and very respectful. Such great humans to be around. Great music, energy, chats and cheapest beers I've had in Sri Lanka. I had the private room, which included breakfast. The room was very big, the bed so unique and comfy. The out door shower was so good. Fan over the bed was perfect. Home cooked, so delicious. Best Dhal I've had in my life (thanks mum). Lots of laughs and conversations. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, everything was AMAZING. This family is just so lovely, so sweet, and they are offering absolutely everything you need. The rooms are really nice, the bathroom is big and everything is super clean. Sincerely, you must stay there, and just enjoy. I highly recommend getting some food as well, that was delicious! I tried to help them and that was a perfect sharing moment. I will come back one day 🫶🏼

I stayed at Pinidu's hostel for a total of 4 nights. It is easily among the best hostel experiences I have ever had (having stayed at more than 40 in the past few years...). The room/bed/bathroom is spotless. The hosts are extremely attentive to detail- gave me tour of the garden and recommendations about where to visit. Above all, I must say that Pinidu is an exceptional human being. After I left the hostel, I had a medical emergency and contacted him for advice. He exchanged with people he knew and sent a friend to the hospital to personally make an appointment for me as I returned to the city. I stayed again at his place for two more nights while I did more tests, during which he was extremely supportive and sought to help me be comfortable. I cannot recommend this place enough. Especially for people who like a calm environment in nature. Peace from Canada <3
