Ideally located in Taichung, Norden Ruder Hostel Taichung offers air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a terrace. This is easily the nicest place I've stayed in Taiwan. It was exceptionally clean and quiet, the staff was knowledgeable, and the location can't be beat! The laundry services were easy to use (coin op, 90 TWD total), and the breakfast vouchers were a nice touch. Free water, coffee, tea, and the place was well-designed and again, quiet. I was able to take a work call from my room without worrying about wifi or waking up a neighbor.

Well located in the centre of Taichung, CHECK inn Taichung Zhongshan is within 600 metres of Taichung Railway Station and 2.5 km of National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts. Very pleasant stay. Only thing is that the bed / pillow could be firmer. But this is my personal preference. :)
