They arranged for a cab when we needed one no problem at all. Beds were comfy room was large. We booked 5 weeks before we travelled so unfortunately no main floor room was available there is no lift so if mobility is a problem might not be for you. Ask them tho if they have it they will do what they can for you.

You're not allowed to have a drink in this (or any other bars) within walking distance of the ground. As it was our lodgings this was particularly poor. The staff were very friendly, room was very basic but clean and breakfast was good. Railway station close so easy and cheap to get into Birmingham city centre.
