Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. This was one of my favourite stays worldwide! The facilities are well maintained and better than what the pictures show. The restaurant serves a great breakfast with a view of the volcano and bird watching, the shared area has a nice pool table, and the rooms are spacious and well equipped. I had some of the best sleep of my life here. The cherry on top, however, was the helpful and caring staff all around. John and Luis at the reception were particularly helpful with any requests and even managed to snag us some discounts with nearby activity operators! This is one stay where we regretted not staying for longer and didn't want to leave.

The property is a family-run business with the family working across reception, food service and other support. The accommodation was great, with individual units air-conditioned on the property. The pool was a great temperature and clean. The property is calm and quiet and the breakfast was great. We easily drove to several activities in the local area within 30-45 minutes, including animal reserves and a chocolate tour, before moving on to La Fortuna. The children loved meeting the water buffalo and had an exceptionally great time.
