Macaw Lodge

Carara

Featuring a deck for yoga lessons, a restaurant, and meals included with the rate, Macaw Lodge is located in Carará, within the Carará Nature Reserve. Free Wi-Fi access is available.

Macaw Lodge offers different meal plans with the rates. Macaw lodge is such a magical place. Beautiful setting, horiculturally interesting, and part of an important wildlife corridor. We saw so many different birds and animals. The highlight was our birding tour with Hugo, who is very knowledgeable about the area. We also loved sitting in the main lodge watching birds gather around the small pond. The food was fabulous, much of it locally sourced. We especially loved the fresh squeezed juice at every meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

EYA Ecolodge

San Isidro

Boasting mountain views, EYA Ecolodge features accommodation with a restaurant and a balcony, around 32 km from Nauyaca Waterfalls. This lodge offers free private parking, room service and free WiFi.

Towels and bed linen are offered in the lodge. By far the best experience we had in Costa Rica. The view from that place, the room itself, Esteban and family, the food - all of that was amazing. There is access to the river with a little patio where guests can enjoy a cool bath and the beautiful view from the valley. The way to get there is a little bumpy, but worth it (you pass a couple waterfalls). Esteban is incredibly helpful and will proudly show you the place and his hibiscus wine! creations. The room has a wonderful view and you get to see lots of birds (toucans, hummingbirds).
