great place to stay, we were in the garden lodges. Really well appointed.
lovely lodges, we stayed for 4 nights and it was spacious enough to relax in. great shower and plenty of storage space. would definitely stay there again. The manager was lovey and helpful, even brought us over a heated towel rail to dry our towels. Excellent Wi-Fi.
This is a unique location, on the edge of a 46-acre patch of ancient woodland. When we stayed the bluebells were out and it was beautiful. To be clear, though, the site that the lodges look out onto isn't the woodland but a giant carpark. The nearby restaurant, the Birchwood, is a lovely location for breakfast (if a little pricey). The lodges are also near to some wonderful locations in this part of East Sussex/Kent (Sissinghurst, Cranbrook, Bedgbury Forest etc.) The greeting when we arrived was friendly.
