Taka, Seiko and their friend Danny made our stay fantastic. Taka was very helpful with resort information and went beyond by picking us up and dropping us to the station. Seiko and Danny did a great job with breakfast, especially with the homemade baking. The drying room was great and the onsen was a great addition after a day on the slopes. We will definitely be back!

A 10-minute walk from Happo One Ski Resort, guests at Log Cottage Epoch can rent out an entire cottage. Each spacious cottage comes with free Wi-Fi and includes a kitchen and a living room. JR Hakuba Train Station is a 10-minute drive away. Everything is perfect. We had an excellent at week there. Toshi and his wife are excellent hosts. He drove us to/from bus terminal slopes, ski rental shops/supermarkets. He was so nice that sometimes we don't want to ask him for a ride. The kitchen is well equipped ranging from rice cooker, microwave, oven, fridge, sukiyaki pot, coffee maker, various sizes of dish and bowl, etc.

Situated a 2-minute walk from the Happo Bus Terminal, the completely non-smoking Ski-Kan features a hot-spring bath and hotel-wide free WiFi. The compact Japanese rooms have futon bedding and an LCD TV. I love everything about this hotel especially the owner :) she was REALLY NICE :)

Guests at snowhere ski lodge can enjoy an American breakfast. I like everything about the lodge. The room has its own en suite bath tub and an outside hot bath and balcony. The accomodation also has free breakfast plus they give free shuttle to the ski resort. Chris and Dan are both so friendly and very accomodating. The place is also near Echoland which has a lot of restaurants. It's like home away from home. We will be back for sure next winter!

The host was a grandma and a grandpa, they were super nice and caring. It made us feel like home, and they made us traditional Japanese breakfast which was very delicious. We will definitely come back next time!

All units come with a patio with garden views, a kitchen with a fridge and a dishwasher, and a private bathroom with bidet. An oven, a microwave and stovetop are also featured, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. Very similar to a European chalet holiday with a Japanese feel. Owners and staff were very friendly and attentive and organised everything from transport to lift passes, dinner bookings to serving a delicious breakfast.
