The owner of the hotel (Sean) was a lifesaver to us. Our car key snapped in the ignition and he did everything he could and helped us get out of this difficult situation. Definitely recommend to visit Silver lake and to stay at Sierra Sands Family Lodge.

The room was maintained at a very high standard of hygiene. It was always a pleasure to return to the room after the day's activities. The breakfast was simple but plenty of variety. Boiled eggs, oats, yoghurt and pastries were available along with fruit juice,coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The dining area was always of a high standard of cleanliness. The staff were exceptional. They were friendly and very helpful. They could not do more for you. I highly recommend this hotel if visiting Frankenmuth and would certainly stay there again.
