Located at the entrance to the Karwendel Nature Reserve in Pertisau, the Sonnenhof is next to the Achensee Golf Course. All rooms and apartments have a balcony with panoramic mountain views. Absolutely fantastic accommodation, clean spacious apartments. Phenomenal breakfast, great selection of quality ingredients, from a diverse range of juices to a selection of salami and cheese. You can order omelette, scrambled eggs or hamenex. I recommend trying their ESS bar restaurant for dinner - it deserves a Michelin star. Extremely helpful staff, including the owner, who always talked to us at the bar and took care of the guests. Great respect - one of the best accommodations we've been to.

The indoor pool facilities are great and open until 10 pm so you have a chance to have it to yourself. Restaurant is high quality and what you would expect from 4* hotel. From the hotel you can easily reach three different hiking routes and cruise across the lake by the boat. Overall it was perfect homebase to explore the lake and the region!

The 2 floors separated the sleeping area, and we really liked that it was really quiet, so we could relax. Getting the keys was easy, as well as the check-in. They welcomed our dog as well. Mpreise is 2 minutes away by foot, getting into the trails in the forest were also within 5 minutes. Achensee is 10 minutes by car.

Next to the Achensee where you can do a lot of watersports and next to the forrest which gives you plenty of hiking routes to the Bärenkopf and other peaks. Pertisau is a lively city which is only a short walk away. Hotel is much cheaper than staying in Pertisau so if you don't mind the evening stroll, take this hotel!
