Especially LISA she was smiling and very helpful, calling and arranging for finding locations and stores.

Hotel Hechl í miðbæ Tauplitz er staðsett á hinu fallega Salzkammergut-svæði í Styria. Excellent breakfast, with a lot of choices. I tried most of them, and they were all excellent, throughout our 5 day stay. The fact that they have a very good coffee machine, that makes an excellent coffee, is a fantastic bonus for us. Also, there was this square bread (lauf....) that was a first for us coming from Canada, and definitely a delicacy. When we told the owner we love that bread she made sure we have them in the morning at our reserved table. Thank you for that. Very friendly staff, and the food from the local restaurant is very good.

Set amidst the impressive landscape of the Salzkammergut in Styria, this 4-star superior hotel offers a unique location on a plateau above Bad Aussee and beautiful panoramic views of the Dachstein. Great location. Amazing breakfast and food in general. Every single member of the staff delivers perfect service. This is challenging and a great achievement. Respect. The room was nice and most importantly quiet. The view to the Loser is wonderful. I’m not the Spa type so I didn’t use it a lot but it’s nice, it was not overcrowded and the teabar plus nuts and dry fruit is welcomed. I would have appreciated a higher water temperature in the pools but that’s minor. It was warm enough to feel good inside. The golf course is around the corner and next to the hotel. I’m not an expert but the course looked rather mediocre to me and just as much maintained as necessary. But that’s not part of the hotel and not their responsibility. I will definitely come back again.

Great location in between Altausseer see and Grundlsee, while still far enough to be in a quiet. Breakfast and dinner were plentiful, staff was kind and helpful. Extremely good value for the room price. Recommended.

Hotel has traditional Austrian ambiance and heritage. It is perfectly located with its own private access to the wonderful, clean lake. The buffet breakfasts offer many choices of fresh, traditional cuisine. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and many have view to the lake or a quiet pretty street. The staff is very profesional and friendly. We will certainly be coming back and highly recommending this hotel.
