Located in Independence, The Toucan Inn provides a bar. There is a restaurant serving international cuisine, and free private parking is available. THE FOOD! The highlight of our trip was definitely the food!

Situated in Seine Bight Village, 70 metres from Seine Bight Beach, Coco's Beachfront Cabanas features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and water sports... From the time you drive in to the villa resort area you are in Wow mode. The villa's are wonderful, and when you walk up and see the ocean, well, its wow mode again. The rooms were spotless, bathroom shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. Kitchenette (in our case) very well equipped with the things you need to cook in occasionally. The deck and chairs and hammock and beach chairs etc all great. We felt safe and secure the entire time, and Placencia village and bars and food are close (10 min drive or so), as is the Maya beach area. The owners are both super nice, willing to help you with whatever you need, and gave some great tips on what to do and where to eat. Go to cockscomb jaguar preserve for sure, Tiger Fern trail was super with a waterfall at the end where you could take a dip if you want to cool off after a nice hike in the jungle. We liked Tipsy Tuna for drinks/food with great ambience and service and prices, but many places were quite good. Coco's is great, don't hesitate to stay.

Situated in Hopkins, Stann Creek region, Crash Pad Adventure Hostel is set 80 metres from Hopkins Beach. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. I loved my stay at Crash Pad. Emma has created a fantastic hostel with lots of thought put into the facilities and finishes. Emma was super friendly and helpful. Hostel is centrally located and has a fabulous rooftop terrace for hanging out with other travelers and cooling off in the evenings. Motorbikes are available for rent and I was lucky enough to join Emma for a day of riding through the local trails. Would definitely stay again!

Set in Placencia Village, a few steps from Placencia Beach, The Ellysian Boutique Hotel offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. It is a great little hotel at the central spot in Placencia. Easy access to the Cayes, with many scuba and snorkeling trips available in the town. The barrier reef is beyond belief if you do scuba.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Ranguana Caye Cabanas offers private island accommodation 30 km from Placencia village. The staff treated us like family. They were so wonderful! And the setting was was just unbelievable! We will definitely be going back

Everything about this property was great. super friendly staff, immaculately kept grounds, super clean. far enough from the business of Placencia to be relaxing and quiet, yet close enough to go by bike or rented golf cart.

Located in Placencia, Wild Orchid Villas offers self-catering accommodation features free WiFi in all areas and free parking. Nice cool rooms upon arrival. That's a plus in the belizean heat.

Everything was well kept up, clean and tidy. The restaurant has excellent food. All interactions with staff were great, they were super about arranging reservations, snorkeling etc. Very personable.

Located at the southern tip of the Placencia Peninsula on the harbor side of Placencia Village, Alan's Paradise Hotel offers a restaurant & bar with free WiFi. Great location and quiet. Free to use bicycles, kayaks. About a 5 minute walk to the Main Street and beach.
