Situated in the hills above Lake Thunersee, at 1150 metres above sea level, the chalet-style Hotel Sterne in the Alpine village of Beatenberg offers panoramic views of the Jungfrau peaks. I don't usually leave any reviews, but this time is exceptional and I have that urge to express how much we appreciated our stay at Hotel Sterne. First of all, we were really impressed by how kind, hospitable,generous and helpful Anna and her husband ,Vald (Sorry if I'm misspelling the name) are! They are unbelievably so kind and want to help you in any way. Before we arrived, they checked with us and provided us with information regarding how safely to get there and then helped us with parking and carried our luggage upstairs. They explained in detail the popular attractions in the area and even helped to plan our days properly. They generously advised us with regard to places, prices, tickets, etc, and provided us with brochures. They also offer a free bus ticket from their hotel to Interlaken center and a ticket discount on some places in Beternberg and Interlaken. They are available all the time, physically and even by WhatsApp. It's not like any hotel where people are there because they do their jobs, Anna and Vald were doing that with love and you can feel it. As Anna said, it's in their Serbian's culture, to make residents feel as if they are at their home and we were really comfortable there. Apart from Anna and Vald, the apartment is clean, well-furnished and you will find what you need. Beds are clean and comfortable. They have a kitchenette with clean utensils and appliances. The view of the hotel is stunning (over the mountain and the lake) and you would enjoy coming back and forth from/to the hotel, though you need to be careful as it's over the mountain. Even if your apartment doesn't have a balcony, they have a communal one! Parking is free, and the distance to interlaken centre is around 17 minutes. I would definitely recommend staying at Hotel Sterne. We are grateful that we have got the chance to stay there even if it were for a couple of days. Thanks Anna and Vald for everything!

Restaurantul, pizzeria, camera, parcarwa, micul dejun, personalul, curatenia, camera- totul a fost la superlativ. Chiar daca este un pic scump, merita toti banii. The Victoria Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa enjoys a privileged and picturesque location in Interlaken, between 2 beautiful lakes at the foot of the eternally snow-capped Jungfrau. We liked the service, the staff, and the concierge in the breakfast restaurant. They are very friendly and very pretty. Also, the hotel was very quiet and had a fantastic location in Interlaken. The price was not cheap, but it was an exciting hotel with a great atmosphere. The housekeeping team was great and very kind; they cleaned our room twice daily when needed.

We did fair amount of hiking in the mountains and it was fantastic to come back to Beatus, relax at the spa and have great meal and rest. View at the mountains and the lake was superb, we liked salt water and inside pool, swimming in the lake, food: breakfast, dinner any snacks, relaxing atmosphere. Pier for the lake boat was right by the hotel. Staff was always helpful and fantastic. Great service.

It was a cozy room, located at the center of the city, few meters from the main train station. Τhe room faced the front side of the building, with an amazing view. Τhe breakfast was also excellent, with several options available.

Personal foarte Ok si primitor, ne-a placut mult micul dejun. John e foarte atent si te ajuta cu ce vrei. Foarte buna ideea daca vrei sa bei o cafea , poti sa mergi cand vrei langa receptie si e inclusa in pretul camerei.

Where do I begin? The location is amazing. I didn't know the view could get better than I experienced coming in via the train, but it gets way better. The hotel is quaint, quiet, luxurious, and not overcrowded. We didn't have to rush anywhere to get a great spot to sit by the water. The room is lovely - highly recommend going for a balcony (especially nice on cool nights to open the window/doors). Rooms were cleaned daily - we didn't expect this since in the US hotels have abstained from daily cleaning even after returning to mostly normal activities post COVID. There was a towel warmer and individual covers on the bed. Each morning I indulged in a delicious breakfast. Lots of great choices. They offer a short lunch/dinner menu for when you need a bite to eat and don't feel like climbing up the hill to a restaurant or bus stop. The staff (there were two primary people and additional staff that were more behind the scenes) was wonderful. They are a big reason why I hope to come back and stay in the same place for a longer duration. Every need was tended to, quickly and kindly. Helpful hints: 1. To get up to the bus stop, climb the stairs behind the building and take the path to the left and follow it to the arch under the bridge. Keep straight to the main road. Plenty of little spots to get up to the primary road. 2. If you have a lot, large, or heavy luggage, consider taking a taxi from the train station to the hotel (I imagine most people are arriving by train at Interlaken Ost). Our trip cost us approx. €25.

Very nice location, away from the tourist hordes and close to a high quality and value Migros restaurant. Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff., they even moved my pre-check in luggage into my room on their own. Very nice room, with a small fan too.

Location very good ( view is excellent ) , good shared kitchen facility ( kitchen has all required utensils), even shared accommodation has enough bathroom ( cleanly maintained) , excellent place to stay with family... For the price they charged facility is beyond expectations.. location is walkable to bus station . Free drinking water.
