The traditionally built, historic wood and stone house Flyhof in Weesen is a family-owned hotel, set directly at the shores of Lake Walen. - beautiful view to the lake from the room's window - large nice clean shower in the room - triple socket extension plug at the disposal - almost quiet room giving to the lake, only goat bells were heard sometimes; but quite noisy in the evening in the rooms giving to the restaurant below, quiet at night though - clean shared toilet at the 1-st floor looking almost private, all women need can be found there - welcoming attention - nice staff, arranged second bed upon phone request for a small extra fee - tea can be self-served on the 1-st floor - authentic medieval interior in public areas

In a bike trip across Switzerland with stays in 10 different hotels, this was easily our favorite. Not fancy or at all pretentious. Just super friendly and relaxed with a drop dead view.

On the slopes of the Flumserberg Mountain, Hotel Bergheim is a 2-minute drive from Flums and the Tannenheim Ski Area. The views were amazing. We had a room to the mountain side and the road which was just fine but the other to the valley was impressive. There is parking available and the breakfast was very good, also with a great view. There is also a bus stop right in front but we did not use it. The staff were very nice and helped us with our questions.

Just 300 metres from the Maschgenkamm Cable Car, the Cristal Hotel is right next to the slopes and a ski lift of the Tannenboden/Flumserberg Ski Area. Great staff and excellent location

Set at the entrance of the Glarus Alps, lintharena ag enjoys a quiet location in Näfels. It offers rooms with private bathrooms and cable TV as well as 4 bed rooms with shared bathroom on the floor. This place is amazing ! We enjoyed everything starting with the climbing halls offering so many routes, the exterior heated swimming pool, the sauna and steam rooms. Breakfast was lovely and staff, both at the reception and the restaurant, very welcoming.
