Boasting a garden, terrace, restaurant and free WiFi, Zhangjiajie YOLO Resort--Within Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is set in Zhangjiajie, 200 metres from Tianzi Mountain and 7.6 km from Yangjiajie... my stay at YOLO was absolutely incredible! I booked a tent but due to rain and thunderstorms I got upgraded to a double room completely free of charge! The staff are just the sweetest people ever and as a solo traveler they really made an effort to make me feel at home :-) It was also very easy to meet other travelers as the resort attracts international guests and everyone arrives and gathers under the big tent roof! Thank you to the lovely team at YOLO for making my stay so special :-) ps: they have baby animals!!

Mountain side was a fantastic base for our family, friendly staff, quiet and comfortable, away from bright lights and noise to wind down after spending all day out exploring Zhangjiejie National park and Tianmen mountain. Anthony assisted in booking all of our daily exploration of the stunning surroundings. I can highly recommend utilising the 4 day itinerary Mountainside recommends.

Situated within 19 km of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and 500 metres of Yuanjiajie, Mountains Beyond Mountains Inn features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Zhangjiajie. Highly recommended staying!! Location is perfect, close to the east gate of national park (less than 10 mins by walk) and also the bus terminal (less than 15 mins by walk). The room was clean, comfortable and exactly same as photos. Owners are so kind and supportive. They don’t use English but you can get English support from their supporter Carol, so communication was smooth. And their dog is sooo adorable:)) Definitely you will get great experience here!!
