First of all, I must say that the staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The hotel staff was very helpful leading up to the trip, answering all our questions via WhatsApp and even arranging transport from Santa Marta Airport to the hotel. Our room was cleaned every day and had both AC and a fan, along with plenty of fresh towels. The hotel staff was very flexible with our check-in and check-out times and always provided us with water from the fridge. Not to mention the gym, tours and the option of ice-baths. The breakfast served during our stay was absolutely delicious and satisfying. We were served with a variety of food items including fruit, eggs, and even pancakes on the second day. Coffee and fresh fruit juice were also included in the meal. Additionally, we booked a massage through the hotel and it turned out to be one of the best I've had in a long time, and the price was very reasonable. We were able to walk straight out of our room to the clean pool, which was maintained daily.

Objekat UUTTAAKA Eco-Hotel nudi smeštaj sa 3 zvezdice na obali mora u gradu Palomino i ima vrt, terasu i bar. The location was incredible. We had a private beach to ourselves. It’s a hidden gem they don’t have a lot of guests so you will really feel welcomed by all the staff and enjoy a private beach. The staff even came to our room to bring us food and drinks when we texted them. They also take very good care of the property we could see that they really cared about the place.

Beautiful and cozy accomodation near the main road and close to the beach. This hotel has a very peaceful and gorgeous setting. The staff are super welcoming and kind. Always making us feel at home and happy to help. Rooms are very large and have their own little garden with chairs and a hammock. Breakfast is very nice with eggs of your choice, fruit, natural fruit juice and plenty of coffee :)

Carlos provided us among the best customer service we have encountered in Colombia. He clearly cares about the space, customer satisfaction, and is looking to improve the resort year after year. The space itself is recently renovated and with a pleasant area that connects to the beach. We were there while the ocean was high and wild, so we didn't go swimming, but we've been told that seasonally it becomes much calmer. The room was large and well air-conditioned when we wanted it to be, and the spaces around the resort, though small, had a perfect getaway vibe.

Lovely peaceful location near the beach. Spotlessly clean and great decor. The staff were great and the breakfast included in our room was hands down the best inclusive breakfast we’ve had in 6 months in central and South America. 100% recommended.

Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Casa Colibri Palomino offers pet-friendly accommodation in Palomino. Certain rooms have a seating area for your convenience. The room was spacious and the breakfast delicious (eggs, fruits, pancake and more). There is free coffee and tea all day and you can fill up your water bottle as well. The patio where they serve breakfast is cute and there is a large terrace with hammocks on the first floor. The location is great - less than 10 minutes walk from the beach and because of that calm at night. The owner is super helpful and speaks several languages. And to top it up, they have an adorable cuddly cat. They have a generator, so there are no issues in case of power cuts. And the wifi also worked very well. I would definitely recommend it.

Offering two outdoor pools and a restaurant, Aite Eco Resort is located near Palomino, just 200 metres from a private beach. It offers free limited WIFi and an open dining room for guests. Excellent beach hotel with pools, bars, restaurants, read and game areas. Never crowded. Birds visit you at breakfast. Enormous rooms, well kept interior and ventilators work well inclusing moskito nets. Very friendly staff. Good food especially try the languste. The horse riding experience was excellent.

Hotel Casalina is located in Palomino, 4 km from the town´s center, the property features free WiFi access, and a daily complimentary breakfast including homemade bread and coffee from the Sierra... We liked almost everything. Nice 6 cabañas at the beach within palm trees. Long beach to walk and watch the sunrises and sunsets. Restaurant opened from 7 am till 9 pm with the last order at 8 pm. The food is really tasty. They have the best colombian cook and other helping ladies. Outside bathroom was a nice experience. Communication with the reception lady via WhatsApp and ordering food via WhatsApp so all is on time. We would stay again without any hesitation.
