Marcela and Alejandro were very helpful and kind and even helped to organise a taxi for us when needed. There are a few shops and restaurants within walking distance which were handy. We had dinner one of the nights which was freshly prepared and was super delicious. Similarly, the breakfast was super tasty with many local and homemade foods.

Best places were nearby Hotel Mocawa. location is excellent. nearby restaurants such as Kokorico, Cafe Quindio Gourmet and even Vegetarian spot 2 blocks away, kept our meal options interesting. Armenia might just be the greenest city in Colombia. while other cities keep growing, Armenia manages to stay cozy and comfortable while still maintaining a great amount of entertainment, tourist, and dining options. Public Safety is also really great in Armenia unlike bigger cities!!!

Cities/town within the Quindio region are close enough to travel to a couple in one day and each have their own unique charm. Montenegro is very close to the Parque del Cafe, depending on what area you stay, the travel time to the park is about 20 min tops. My husband and I went to Parque Cocora for horse back riding up the mountains to visit a hummingbird sanctuary -- it was magical! We would have loved to stay a little longer in the area perhaps to camp and do more adventure-style touring. Also, loved the weather!

The hotel location is great...very central with a Cafe Quindio across the street, a number of restaurants within walking distance, a grocery store close by and a shopping mall one block away. The desk staff were responsive and professional and dining room staff (when you could find them) were pleasant and helpful. The pool was clean (but very cold!). The bathroom was clean and well stocked with toilet paper. The room had a mini fridge which is always appreciated. Indoor parking was provided free of charge.

The property has one of the best so far internet connectivity by fiber optics, I enjoyed the breakfast prepared by single order by the friendly kitchen staff , and last but not least the location around the Colombian mountains gives you a stay of connection with nature, birds, horses and such. I will return on the later future to this lovely place to rest , relax, be connected to the world and visit the wonderful town of Salento in Quindio , Colombia.

No loud music, good food and nice atmosphere. The staff left out marshmallows to roast on a small fire at night time, which I thought was such a nice touch! Both dinner and breakfast were amazing. The hotel was right next to a 30-minute walk/hike to a breathtaking waterfall. Our tour guide to the waterfall was a dog named Sol who accompanied us the whole way and was mindful of our safety. The staff was very courteous and mindful of our needs and we need to thank Pablo for all the recommendations that he gave us. The facilities are wonderful, it's extremely peaceful, and unlike other glamping places, this is actually a family friendly hotel without parties, late-night drinking, or loud guests as we've seen in other hotels. It's a 10-minute drive to the Valle del Cocora where you can go on horseback riding and other activities. Definitely would recommend, if possible and if we're around again, we'll definitely come back.
