You can reach the ferry terminal within maybe 15 - 20 min by foot, taxi to the airport is currently ~12€

Kira's Boutique Hotel is located in Mindelo. For a fee, Wi-Fi access is available in all areas. Free public parking is possible at a location nearby. Such a lovely place with friendly staff! They all made me feel like I was at home! Amazing breakfast and facilities! I 100% recommend this Hotel and will definitely return.

Everything was fantastic, form the rooms to the breakfast, pool (small but very clean and with nice view) to the most friendly staff and owner. We loved our stay here!!

A Prassa 3 Boutique Hotel ingyenes wifivel ellátott szállást kínál étteremmel Mindelóban. A szálloda terasszal, étteremmel és bárral várja vendégeit. Very big room (47 m2). Friendly lady at the reception but also during breakfast. I ate a very good cachupa, served with 2 eggs above. We also appreciate that our delay of one day at arrival was not charged, due to the LUXAIR which couldn’t land at Mindelo airport in time.

Wonderful stay! The hotel has an amazing architecture. We went in December, so it was super quiet. Steven and the rest of the staff were absolutely fantastic! They organized our stuff and luggage during room service! Expect African sightseeing views. The beach is 1 minute away and one of the best we visited - don’t forget to have a drink at the turtle bar, play some football with the fishermen, and to swim with the turtles!

The hotel is well-located to many restaurants and the port/terminal where one can take the ferry to the neighboring island. We arrived early (before the check-in time), and Henry offered us free breakfast at the hotel restaurant, located just downstairs. We left for the other island early the next morning, and he made sure that a small snack had been prepared for us. Days later, we were able to keep our bags there as we explored the city. Henry (again) arranged a taxi for our trip to the airport. I would definitely stay here again!

Offering an outdoor pool, Oasis Porto Grande is located in Mindelo. At Oasis Porto Grande guests will find a fitness centre. The property is a 10-minute walk from the beach. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent, especially Nilza. When flying from Fogo to Sao Vicente, the airline left all out luggage on Fogo. We were due to sail to Sao Anteo but decided to rearrange the ferry and stay in Porto Grande to try and let our luggage catch up with us. There were 8 of us and we only booked in on the day of our stay. They were not phased when we arrived with only the grubby clothes that we stood up in and Nilza was very helpful. She liaised with the airline and airports to establish where our luggage was [getting further than we could] and arranged a large taxi for us all to have a happy reunion with the luggage that evening. Wiyhout hteir help the holiday would have been a lot more difficult.
