Situated in the old part of Paphos, the family-run Axiothea offers accommodation with free WiFi in all areas and rooms, breakfast and spectacular views of the Mediterranean. Axiotheia is an absolute gem. Family run hotel with a good location in Paphos. 30 minutes walk to the seafront, 5 minutes walk to a Zorba bakery, next to two excellent restaurants (Muse and Koutourou Ouzeri) and with it's own free parking for guests. The rooms were lovely and spotlessly clean. I thought the hygiene standards were higher than in several 4-star hotels I've stayed. Rooms come with fridge and good-sized closet. Breakfast is served in a big room with a view over Paphos. For vegans and vegetarians, the breakfast has hummus, tahini, olives, cucumber, tomatoes, fruit salad, olives, cake, different cheeses, eggs and bread. The people who run the hotel are very friendly and welcoming. I can only recommend this place!

Nestled on the edge of a forest, this traditional Cypriot stone house offers private balconies overlooking the Troodos Mountains or Mediterranean Sea. It has an outdoor pool and a peaceful garden. The hotel was excellent. The owner (Shula) greeted us as a family member. Breakfast was plentiful, real Cypriot. I recommend it to anyone who is not looking for a 10-story, gleaming flashing concrete building. Who loves nature, silence, wonderful air.
