With natural stone walls and high thatched roofs, these private bungalows are on the coast of the Caribbean Ocean. The property features a yoga studio and a full-service spa. The staff is very friendly in all aspects, reception, spa, restaurant... They arranged surfing lessons for our children. The company they contacted, Pau Hana, came to pick up the children perfectly on time, and had very good and patient instructors for the children. The adults joined one of the yoga lessons organised in the grounds of Natura Cabanas and a massage at the spa. It is really a perfect spot to relax. They make you sign a statement that music speakers are not allowed, and I was very relieved, since I don't like having to endure loud music from fellow guests. All in all, the rooms, the environment, and the offer of vegan and vegetarian food, makes it different from other hotels in the area. We truly enjoyed our stay.

The Eco Lodge is amazing. If you, like me, prefer to travel consciously and authentically this place is all that! Local and kind staff. Waking up and being able to hear the ever changing sea before even opening your eyes is truly wonderful. There's a chill island vibe at the spot - doesn't really feel like a hotel - and I mean that in the best way possible. I definitely felt recharged after our stay there and it was our favourite place out of 4 in the DR. Cabarete is a nice town 10 min/600 pesos away (Sosua too). If you plan on exploring the area, it's probably better to rent a motorcycle. There are other tourists, but not to an extend where the town loses its identity. All in all we really loved it.
