For only 5$ extra you can use the Spa area which includes the jacuzzi, dry and steam sauna. The view from the hostel is a dream and you have so much nature to discover if you are going on a hike. The hostel offers a lunchbox for small money if you need it for your hike. You also get a towel for free and enough options to take a shower with hot water. They also have a big Yoga studio to use (incl. mat) with an amazing view.

The room was very nice and the common areas as well. Very warm at night. The water in the showers is hot which is awesome. We had dinner and lunch at the restaurant and this is quality food with many options even vegetarian. Fernando nicely offered to drop us at the bus station. We did the Cotopaxi tour with them (walk around the lagoon and hike to the refugio and the glacier) and we had a good time, we recommend them

John es agradable. I enjoyed my stay at El trapiche. John was an excellent host and very accommodating. They are building a pool, jacuzzi, and sauna for their guests.

Appreciated room upgrade since there were no other guests while we were there for 3 days.

Service was impeccable and breakfast was buffet style, small but very good, and different options. I've to say that the shower was the best shower with hot water and pressure we had and the soap is awesome too!
