Doubletree by Hilton Chester is set in an 18th-century manor house with 12 acres of landscaped gardens. The hotel is just outside Chester, a 2-minute drive from the M53 motorway. Staff, room, basically the whole thing including queries after we had left.

A 15-minute drive from Chester's historical centre, Grosvenor has a spa, a pool and a gym. Near the Welsh border, Grosvenor Pulford has free Wi-Fi, spacious rooms and beautiful grounds. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were friendly .

Set 2.8 miles from Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet, Holiday Inn Ellesmere Port/Cheshire Oaks is 5 minutes’ walk to the National Waterways Museum. Nice location and very nice and helpful staff

In Cheshire’s countryside, the AA 4-star The Stanneylands has two dining venues, The Tap & Pantry and The Grill Room. Lovely hotel spotless and the staff are very friendly

In the historic city centre, Crowne Plaza Chester, an IHG Hotel boasts an indoor heated pool, hot tub and a gym. On-site private parking is available for an additional fee. Beautiful and clean room. Facilities are great and all staff were extremely nice and helpful.

Warrington Motel, J20 M6 Lymm Services is located on Lymm Service Area less than 1 mile from junction 20 off the M6 motorway and 2 miles from Lymm. I liked the staff hospitality Loved the cleaness of the room and was warm.

The Campanile Hotel Runcorn is located in Runcorn town centre, 120 metres from Runcorn Railway Station and 7 minutes’ drive from the M56 motorway. Everything. Second time we have stayed here and it did everything we needed for our stay!

The hotel includes free Wi-Fi throughout and offers modern rooms, which are equipped with a flat-screen TV. The rooms also benefit from a king-size bed. Some rooms have a balcony. Friendly local people who interacted with us during our stay.

A mere 5-minute walk from Warrington town centre, the hotel is easily accessible from the M56, M6 and M62 motorways, and directly opposite Warrington Bank Quay mainline railway station. Polite friendly staff. Lovely and cosy warm.
