Where to start? The greeting on reception was fabulous - such a warm welcome and very kindly, an upgrade of both our rooms for which we were very grateful indeed. The hotel is fabulous for those who are less mobile, with slopes and swing doors in the general areas. My mother uses a wheelchair and was amazed at the quality of the disabled bathroom in the room - the best we had seen, so we can definitely recommend the hotel to wheelchair users or those who avoid steps. The rooms are huge and very clean, the beds comfortable - firm with some give. We had an excellent dinner with superb service. Fabulous wines; not just their own, but a global selection. A real treat! Breakfast consists of a lovely buffet but also a comprehensive menu. Again, excellent service. I cannot recommend the Llanerch Vineyard Hotel highly enough. It is a beautiful place with a great team, and fantastic value for money.

Lanelay Hall Hotel & Spa ligger i Hensol, 20 km från Cardiff University, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en restaurang och en bar. It was a wonderful place for a relaxing stay. The pool was amazing. The food was excellent and it was great to be able to eat outside in the morning. All the staff could not have been more helpful. The Bear Hotel ligger i den pittoreska marknadsstaden Cowbridge i utkanten av Cardiff, 25 minuter från Cardiffs flygplats och med god tillgång till motorväg M4. Friendly staff and a good sized room. Facilities great too.

Haveli Hotel ligger i hjärtat av företagsparkerna i Pontyclun, inom 15 minuters bilresa från både Cardiff och Swansea. I have been stopping here every year for the past 6years around the same time for the autumn internationals it a good standard budget hotel close to railway 20min walk for a 20min train ride to Cardiff meaning I don't have to drive to Cardiff , and they are well accomodating I call up at 21:50 to say that we are returning later than expected and if there was any chance of food and the wait for us and cook a meal for us, what more can you ask for. Défi recommended . Especially for those that don't want to pay ridiculous price .

Denna stora viktorianska byggnad har karaktär. Det ligger 40 minuter från Cardiffs centrum och 20 minuter från Cardiffs internationella flygplats, och mindre än 3,2 km från stranden. Once we got into the hotel the staff was helpful and friendly. We had checked in early as we were going to a festival near by and they let us put our bags in one of the rooms until the rest were ready.Our rooms where clean and a good size aswell as the bathroom. We went into the bar in the night and the locals were friendly and made us welcome.
