Situato ad appena 40 km dal Circolo Polare, l'Hotel SØMA Sisimiut offre una reception aperta 24 ore su 24 e una caffetteria. La struttura dista solo 5 minuti a piedi dal porto di Sisimiut. Welcoming atmosphere, comfortable room and helpful staff. Good breakfast and cafeteria was useful to have cake and coffee in the afternoon sand if you arrive prompt at 5.30 an evening meal at a reasonable price. It was a popular meeting place for local people. Used both their laundry service and spa. They also adjusted our booking when our ferry was delayed. Many thanks to the team. If in that part of tge world again we would definitely stay there.

Dotato di un bar e camere con TV a schermo piatto, il moderno Hotel Icefiord si trova a 200 km a nord del Circolo Polare Artico, nella Groenlandia Occidentale, e a 1 km dal centro di Ilulissat. La posizione dell'hotel e la terrazza. La posizione é la piú bella a Ilulissat, anche se per il centro bisogna camminare un quarto d'ora a piedi.Come giá scritto da molti la colazione é molto buona ma un po' di varietà non guasterebbe. Non so una torta, un formaggio o una marmellata diversi. Ha il molo per l'attracco delle barche. Quindi se prenoti le escursioni con Disko Line Explorer che, peraltro, é un'ottima agenzia, ti vengono a prendere direttamente all'hotel. É incluso il servizio navetta per l'aeroporto molto efficiente e gestito da esterni, che curano il transfer anche presso altri hotel.
