The location and the hotel absolutely exceeded our expectation. If I’d evaulate the property with one word, it would be the perfect! From the modern, sophisticated design of the property, thru the quite, appropriate for all needs wellness Spa and the Bistro-Restaurante with Michelin-Recommendation, to the kindness and courtesy of all Personal of the Hotel, everything was just amazing.

The Houses of History is located on the shore of Belső-tó in Tihany, on a half hectare area, a 5-minutes walking distance from the city centre. Veldig flott rom, stort,med et nydelig bad.. Rent og ryddig, i en eldre autentisk stil. Nydelig frokost, manglet ingenting. Fantastisk område 10 min gange fra hotellet. Utrolig utsikt over Balatonsjøen og flott restaurant på toppen der. Anbefales virkelig !

Offering a a private beach area and views of the Lake Balaton from each room, Balatonfői Yacht Club is located in Balatonkenese, 1 km from the train station. Free WiFi access is available. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. They had someone, free of charge, pick us up at the train station. When a pipe in the bathroom broke they moved us to another room. The room they moved us to, they felt had a better view of the lake and the sale boats. Which it did. The area we stayed in is not a tourist area, it is a very small village with beautiful homes. The train station is about 3K but there is a trolly 1K. Either way if you perfer a Taxi they will try to obtain one for you.
