Set on Aran Islands 6-5 km from Kilronan port, Aran Walkers Lodge features a garden, a terrace and free WiFi. A complimentary continental breakfast can be enjoyed at the property. Sean and Brenda were very welcoming and made sure I had all I needed as a solo traveler with a knee injury. The room was bright, clean and warm. Overlooking the Connemara coast and Galway Bay, Tigh Fitz Bed and Breakfast is located on Inis More which is the largest of the 3 Aran Islands and features several ancient stone forts and churches. Penny and her colleague are incredible hosts, thank you again for your tips and everything else, we felt very welcome right from the beginning! Breakfast was delicious and fresh. Beds were comfy, very clean room and bathroom. I would recommend this place 100 percent. The walk to the Supermarket and/or Pub is about half an hour or you can call a driver (we did one night, no problem at all). We did an Island-Tour with the funny and kind driver Noel right after the ferry arrived: do that :) you see/learn a lot.
