Situated in Reykholt, within 19 km of Geysir and 29 km of Gullfoss Waterfall, Blue Hotel Fagrilundur - On The Golden Circle features free WiFi. Very kind staff members, always at your disposal. The hotel is near to all the main locations on the Golden Circle. The room was clean and very nice. The hot tubs outdoors were a nice touch to our Icelandic trip.

Bed is very comfortable, shower a bit tricky to mount but good amount of water coming from it. Big room and there were coffee, hot chocolate and cookies self-serviced all day.

The location was excellent, close enough to the main road, but far enough so that it was the best location where we saw the northern lights, just outside our room. Breakfast was quite ok, the mushroom soup for dinner was DELICIOUS, the staff was very nice and helpful and the view from the room ... wow. We'll definitely stay here again next time.

The black sand beaches begin about 5 minutes' walk from the hotel. rooms are big, clean, comfortable and modern. we saw the aurora lights from our window. great staff and breakfast.

Rooms are fantastic with great views of the horse stables and endless greenery. Very comfortable beds with down pillows/duvets in elegantly decorated rooms. The food was outstanding - we had 2 lunches and 2 dinners there. Highly recommend!
