Hotel in Aitong
Overlooking the Mara River, home to hippos and crocodiles, all tents at Fairmont Mara have a private veranda. Game drives, an outdoor heated pool with bar, and massage tents are provided. My husband and I visited for our 2nd anniversary and it was amazing. The safaris were amazing, the camp is located on a private conservancy, so the game viewing is exceptional. We saw a wide variety of animals, including all the big five (except the elusive leopard). Reuben was our guide and he was great, so knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly! The tents were great as well, I loved being woken up by the hippos at dawn. Caleb took care of our tent and made sure we were very comfortable throughout. The masseuse at the Spa was amazing as well, got a great deep tissue massage after a long day out on the Mara. We loved the food, they had a wide range of options to suit all palettes, Francis took care of us during meals throughout our stay, he was excellent. We unfortunately didn’t pack any warm clothes, (we didn’t expect it to be as cold as it was) but there were blankets in all the game drive vehicles and they were a life saver! Caleb also warmed up our bed with a hot water bottle every night.

This is the best hotel in Narok Town. The room was super comforting and impeccably clean. What really stood out though was the high quality of the service. On top of all of this is that the price is a real bargain.
The staff and the team: Dominic the safari driver, Ngala the chief waiter and the main singer, and Daisy the reception.
The Brefast and the other meals were good. The location of the place is amazing and the Staff is fantastic. All of them
It was our second visit to Mara NP, but our first time sleeping within these grounds. Waking up with a river view and having zebras or hyenas or giraffes looking right across is mesmerising. The tent was clean, comfortable and spacious enough for three persons. Esmo was assigned to take care of us at meal times and he did a wonderful job. The meals were freshly prepared and very good. It was like a set menu and there was always a vegeterian option. The Masai also made us feel safe in the evening while escorting us.
Accomodations were very nice. staff was very friendly and professional. food was excellent!!
An amazing place for a luxurious safari holiday. The staff were amazing, great service. From the wet towels when you step off the jeep, to the food (amazing chefs), to the room staff. Every time we even stepped out of the tent, our bins were emptied, bed was made (even when we were going to check out), and room set. Game drives were amazing, guides knew their stuff and worked together to find the big 5. We stayed in Giraffe Cliff which was an amazing place. On the first night we had elephants right outside our tent, breaking branches at 1am! Every night the elephants were around, sleeping around the tents, but staff were always on site to guide us with torches if we ever needed to get around. They've thought of everything. We had an amazing time there, and would highly recommend it.
It was very nice. The rooms were massively spacious and so was the resort.
Loved the Service of the staff. The driver Paul was amazing. The wait staff were brilliant. Jacinta, Jackson, Kelly, Edwin etc were so good to us. Chef Evans Was accommodating and fun. The Game drives were detailed and good. The hot-air balloon ride was a once in a lifetime thing. Cant even describe it. And the elephant that came to our window in the dead of night really made things interesting. Overall 9/10
It was good and there was everything we need to have a good breakfast, lunch and dinner. The place and the service was fantastic.
Spent 9 nights here. The location is great as you're sleeping in the park. Obadiah, the manager, was great. He helped me with everything from game drives to getting a covid test needed to depart. Dennis, my driver/guide, works for Julia's and was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable & kept in contact with the other guides so we didn't miss a river crossing (or anything else). We saw leopard, plenty of lion, cheetah, hyena, elephants, two river crossings (5000 animals each crossing), cheetah kill, hippos, buffalo, wild dogs, crocs, etc. Truly exceptional and once in a lifetime experience. The meals were great. I had pancakes, fresh fruit, & whip cream for breakfast. Eggs, etc are available. Value for money 10/10.
The property was in a good position for safari. The staff were really friendly and the food for lunch and evening meals was delicious. The experience at the hotel was really authentic and loved the rented accommodation. We were very fortunate to see monkeys by the pool.
