Starting our Norway roadtrip from Oslo, we booked this nice cottage to spend the night and recharge before resuming our journey. Little did we know that we were about to spend one memorable night in this picturesque retreat. The room was super cosy with a terrace offering panoramic views of the magnificent Krøderen lake. Every corner in the cottage offered breathtaking views. Our gracious hostess, Sophie, prepared exquisite dinner on the most elegant and sophisticated table setting and we had a wonderful evening with her and her charming family. We savored a succulent home-cooked meal, indulged in dessert while sharing our stories, ended the delightful evening playing cards and sipping camomille tea surrounded by the purest essence of nature. Needless to say, we highly recommend this idyllic place. It’s these kind of heartwarming travel experiences that leave impressions that last for a lifetime.

« SoFly Cottage », le charme pur ligger i en terrass och erbjuder boende i Noresund med gratis WiFi och utsikt över bergen. Lovely little cabin, beautifully furnished. Sophie was so helpful and hospitable, leaving the cabin open and warm for a late arrival and even providing provisions for supper and breakfast. We spent a very cosy night in the cabin and it was the perfect stop off on the way up to Hemsedal. I’d highly recommend it and the main cabin also looks beautiful.

Skogro ved Norefjell har utsikt över sjön och erbjuder boende med en balkong och kaffemaskin, 38 km från Vikersundbakken. It was all we needed even more. Toaster, coffee machine, Christmas tree, books...etc.
