The staff is outstanding and they were invariably happy to assist with any request. The restaurant was (in relative terms) a little expensive but far from unreasonable. The bed and shower were great.

I wish I could give it more than 10/10 :) Really I enjoyed my stay. It is such a cozy hotel very near to Durbar Square. Super clean, comfortable beds, good WiFi. Yet, the best thing is how welcoming and supportive the staff are. Everyone was so nice and helpful. 100% would stay here again. Thank you 🙏

My stay at Ananta Home Pvt. Ltd was fantastic. The hotel has a superb location in the bustling district of Thamel. You can enjoy shopping and indulge in many restaurants and cafes without a taxi. Speaking of Taxis, the hotel can arrange airport pickups and drop-offs. The hotel goes beyond that. The management arranged two tourist programs for me. As for my room, it had all that I needed. The comfortable mattress made me sleep like a baby. The well-lit room helps when you want to read or get things done on your laptop. The hotel does not offer a buffet breakfast. Instead, they make breakfast to order. Rest assured, you will get your food fresh from the kitchen! And what can I say about the fantastic team managing the guests' experience. I felt I made new friends! Thank you, Arjun, Anisa, Pratik, Summet, Gita, Indira, and Sudip for making me feel at home!

Città sorprendente!
Città davvero sorprendente. Consigliatissimi il centro (Durbar square), anche se purtroppo i segni del terremoto del 25 aprile sono ancora molto evidenti. Incredibili anche altri siti quali Pashupatinath, Boudhanath e Swayambhunath. Visto il prezzo molto accessibile conviene muoversi in taxi (anche per tragitti che attraversano la città non si superano le 300-400 NRP)...considerando il traffico e il modo di guidare degli autoctoni meglio non noleggiare l'auto. Numerosi i siti di interesse nella valle di Kathmandu (Patan, Bakthapur, Bungamati e dakshinkali - quest'ultimo un po' cruento per i sacrifici di animali alla Dea Kali). Da fine inverno al periodo dei monsoni, la cappa di smog sulla città, può portare a irritazione della gola e problemi respiratori.

Bhaktapur: tranquillità e ospitalità
Meno caotica rispetto a Kathmandu, è un ottimo punto di partenza per gite in giornata nella valle di Kathmandu o nella stessa capitale, distante meno di mezz'ora d'auto. Nel centro storico di Bhaktapur, nonostante i gravi danni subiti dal terremoto, è molto piacevole passeggiare e gli abitanti sono sempre sorridenti e accoglienti. Anche se non parlano/parlate inglese, troverete sempre qualcuno disposto ad aiutarvi.

Kathmandu in sè è bella grazie a Pashupatinat, boudha, swayanbu e alcuni monasteri buddisti tibetani. Il caos del traffico dopo un po' risulta difficile da digerire ma comunque non impossibile come in alcuni posti indiani. Per far bene la valle di Kathmandu usando mezzi pubblici e fare un paio di notti in un monastero tibetano sarebbe necessario considerare una decina di giorni.
