Good morning, From the practical aspect, this is an exceptionally comfortable chalet to live in! It has continuous hot running water supply in the bathroom and kitchen, the kitchen has all the necessary appliances and cutlery for cooking, the living room has a well set up fireplace with good quality dry wood, which is easy to make fire from. Also, there is a washing machine and a dryer for the clothes, a vacuum cleaner, a heater in the bedroom, a big TV in the living room and many board games to play. Overall, this place has made my husband and i very happy, and our stay at Mount Lyford memorable, enjoyable, comfortable and fun! Thank you! Cheers, Olya and Josh Hunter

Situated in Mt Lyford in the Canterbury region, Lyford's Boutique Retreat - Relax & Enjoy features accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to an open-air bath. We were delighted to find a charming log cabin with all the amenities. The fireplace is central and keeps the whole house warm, a wonderful bath with a view to die for. But for me one of the best part was after having overcast skies, waking in the early hours of the morning to see a clear starry sky with the southern cross large in the big window at the end of the bed. If you are looking for this type of accomodation I can't recommend this cabin enough.

It was so comfortable and warm, plus you can't beat a hot tub after a day on the mountain. Wifi was a bit of an unexpected bonus for an NZ cabin, but helpful for planning the next day of travel!

Leader Valley Cottage - A Tranquil Retreat For Two is a lovingly restored 1900's cottage nestled within a beautifully established garden, set in the Leader Valley. The cottage was lovely and comfortable. We really appreciated the option to recharge our electric car.

The Morgans is set in Waiau. The property is non-smoking and is located 34 km from Mt. Lyford. At the capsule hotel, every room comes with a terrace. I absolutely loved this tiny house. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We stayed an extra night as we loved the place so much. Highly recommend to stay here. Thanks for Deb and Jason for an awesome stay.

Located in Hammer Springs and surrounded by forest, Alpine Holiday Apartments and Campground offers comfortable accommodation in quiet and peaceful surroundings. We booked a cabin for 3 nights. Us and our 2yr old and 4yr old. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. It has a lovely little deck area then onto a lawn which was perfect for the children. A playground in the main camping area also fab. Toilets and showers really close. Everything was clean and the owners are lovely. We had such a great time.
