I love how everything was clean. I love the big cotton towels, the big comfortable bed, the big sky tv, and how easy it was to access the lift right by the entrance and be up in my room in a flash. The staff were kind and helpful. The buffet breakfast was yummy and the layout of the restaurant was spacious and friendly, overlooking the calm waters of the Waikato River. It was my first time to stay in an Ibis Hotel. Whenever I visited Hamilton I always stayed at Novatel but this one was better in my opinion.

There was no breakfast but none was expected. The location was interesting with both a Park and the Waikato River within easy walking distance. Some would call the area Refugee central, which made for colourful ethnic diversity as people came and went from the many apartment complexes, but also surprisingly quiet as most seemed to be empty although perhaps many were away for the long weekend to escape the concert scheduled to take place in the Park on the Sunday.

Top end .. everything included , even washing machine dryer.. very clean ..roomy but the best was the view with an amazing terrace . we could not expect better .. all rooms were big and so convenient ..Everything you need in the kitchen.. very nice parking at the door.. short walk to the restaurant .. breakfast buffet was amazing .. Fantastic check in, all the staff were very friendly! the beds were extremely comfy and we had a little fridge for our snacks. The pools were great to relax in after the road trip and the sunset was amazing! We also booked dinner at the Hilton which was super yummy! It was such a great trip, and only a 3 min walk into town
