Superb and friendly owner and staff. Achmed, the owner, helped us out when we got stuck in tbe sand upon arrival. At night he gave a free tour into the desert, including a small campfire. Next morning he arranged a cameltour and gave us a daylight tour with his 4WD.

The location and the camp are very good, you are really in the middle of the desert. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff! The room are very authentic and put you into a feeling of the traditional culture. The journey to the camp is also great in driving through the dunes. The staff is very friendly and can offer many activities on short notice such as camel rides, dune bashing etc. They also organize a nice buffet breakfast and dinner.

Terletak di Bidiyah, Moon Light Camp mempunyai penginapan dengan kawasan tempat duduk. Terdapat bilik mandi peribadi yang serba lengkap dengan bidet dan kelengkapan dandanan diri percuma. Our tent is quite spacious and comfortable. Clean and the bathroom is really good. The staff are so helpful.

Rashid Desert Private Camp terletak di Bidiyah dan menawarkan teres dan kemudahan barbeku. Perkhemahan mewah ini mempunyai tempat parking peribadi percuma dan dapur berkongsi. When researching for a camp, i found myself flooded with options and read millions of reviews. They all seemed very similar and offered the same activities. However, this camp’s perfect reviews, especially the ones about how awesome of a person Rashid is, definitely called my attention. And after staying at this camp, i can 100% agree. Rashid made our experience a thousand times better. He made us feel welcomed from the start, made us laugh like few people do, and didn’t hesitate to answer any question we had about his country and culture. He shared the meals with us, took us to all the activities and made us enjoy them even more. He even went out of his way to show us and make us interact with camels and their babies that were out in the dessert, an experience we will never forget! The tent was huge, with a really comfortable bed and a private bathroom (which not many camps have for what i’ve researched). The food was really really good and just kept coming, even when we were full 😅 There was free water, tea, coffee and fruit available at all times for us. All in all, a great stay, amazing experience and the nicest host. Will definitely be back next time we’re in Oman!
