Cabanas da Viscondessa is offering accommodation in Urzelina. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. This accommodation is one of many reasons why I am looking forward to coming back to São Jorge. We could see that it was important to Jorge to present the place in a good light and it was indeed a very pleasant experience to be there. Everything was great and I have no regrets about choosing Cabanas da Viscondessa for our stay.

Hotel Os Moinhos is located in São Jorge Island, with views over the highest mountain in Portugal, sited in nearby Pico Island. the grounds and views were amazing! nicely kept hotel rooms too.

A Hotel São Jorge Garden kiváltságos óceán melletti elhelyezkedéssel büszkélkedhet. A szálloda 200 méterre áll a fő bevásárlónegyedtől, és 7 km-re található a repülőtértől és 1 km-re a kikötőtől. The view was amazing. Location was excellent. Right across the street from Car Rental. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Walking distance to many good restaurants and natural pool. 10 out of 10 for the staff…when we checked out at 6 am, it was raining so hard, the guy on duty at the front desk drove us to the ferry….(we had planned to walk to the ferry, and had not booked a taxi, so instead of letting us walk in the rain, we were grateful for the offer to drive us…he went above and beyond!!)

At the foot of the São Jorge Mountains, Hotel Solmar is less than 100 metres from the coastline. Its air-conditioned rooms overlook the Atlantic Ocean, Calheta Harbour or mountains. The room was clean and very spacious, equipped with an a/c which was very welcome in July. :) The location is great, close by a supermarket and restaurants. Good breakfast!

Varandas do Basalto has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Queimada. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation features a patio. Literally everything. It’s clean, spacious and well equipped.

Cantinho do Piano is situated in Velas. The property has sea and garden views. The guest house features family rooms. Located in center, parking on the street not hard to find, receptionist prepared for us a map with places to see, shared equipped kitchen, very nice living room/reception.

Retiro Atlântico is located in Urzelina. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Guests can enjoy a meal on an outdoor dining area while overlooking the sea... I loved everything about our stay. The yurt was a one of a kind experience & it being in between all that green made it even more special. Every morning there was a fresh homemade breakfast with products they grew themselves. We got good tips for places to visit & help whenever we needed. I would recommend this place to everyone & if we ever return to São Jorge, then we will definitely book here again. Natacha, thank you for everything! It was a pleasure to be your guest.

Located in Calheta, Abrigo da Cascata - Casas de Campo - São Jorge offers a garden, free WiFi, a shared kitchen, and a housekeeping service. Beautiful setting on the sea. A truly unique escape.

Quinta da Magnólia AR is situated in Urzelina and has a private pool and pool views. There is a private entrance at the farm stay for the convenience of those who stay. Great place to spend time on Sao Jorge Magnolia has wonderful staff that looked after all of our needs while on the island. The property is exceptional and the room we had with the hot tub overlooking the ocean was incredibly beautiful. Nice touch with the sparkling wine on my birthday Thank you will highly recommend and hope to return once day.

Situada em Velas, a Casa dos Lagos - RRAL nº 2187 oferece acomodações com WiFi gratuito e um jardim com terraço e vista para o jardim. Leodora was very nice and allowed us an early check in. The apartment was clean and tidy. Lots of linens provided. The air conditioning was great. Unit was spacious and specifically our bathroom was renovated (we chose based on the photos). Amenities were good (kitchen utensils and cookware, washer, drying clothes rack, hair dryer). We were also given a nice late check-out. You can walk to city center along sidewalk down hill it takes about 20 minutes. But maybe take a taxi uphill !
